Construction services

Gerding Builders has more than 56 years of experience building projects of all types and sizes throughout the Pacific Northwest. Safety and quality are the foundation of what makes our projects a success. We’ll partner with you from pre-construction through completion to ensure your project matches your vision.

Pre-Construction

At Gerding Builders, we’ll partner with you before construction begins. We’ll work with you and the design team to determine your vision and assist you in obtaining the most building for your dollar. Early involvement allows us to provide expertise, project recommendations, schedule development, and identify potential opportunities. Gerding Builders will provide transparency and accountability for project costs, quality, and schedule from concept to occupancy. We do the hard work in preconstruction to facilitate a streamlined project build.

Design-Build

When you need a turnkey solution, Gerding Builders is your Design-Build Contractor. Design-Build is our preferred contract method for our clients who want our team to take the leadership role on the project. We are experienced in leading a project from property test fit options all the way through project final occupancy.

Special Projects

Gerding Builders Special Projects Division meets the needs of smaller-scale projects with the expertise, quality, and commitment to safety you have come to expect. We provide cost-effective solutions for unique projects for existing and past clients, with streamlined coordination for fast turnaround and minimal business disruptions. Our Special Projects Team comprises experienced professionals who have a dedication to fast-tracked projects like yours.

Construction Management

Our team of experts will provide innovative solutions, constructability review, and schedule development. In addition, we will provide onsite supervision, adhere to stringent safety standards, and execute your project with excellence.

Negotiated (GMP Project)

Many of our private work clients choose this delivery method for its outstanding transparent project cost process and collaborative team environment. Our team works hard to develop an all complete GMP contract with a visible construction contingency program in which all savings are returned to the client.

Sustainable Construction

Our philosophy is that Green Building isn’t only for LEED certified projects. We work with Architects and Owners to find cost-effective opportunities for sustainability and energy efficiency through material/process analysis and payback calculations.
